I Am Reaching, but I Fall...

So a year or two ago (or somewhere in between?) I did my very first proper colored pencil portrait. I chose to draw Philip Quast as Inspector Javert, and I'm still rather pleased with the result.
Just pretend that the Eiffel Tower had been built by then. (... Artistic license? Alternate history?)
